Industrial Relations (IR) focuses on the investigation of the nature of relationships that exists between employers and employees – the employment relationship. This course examines the theories of employee relations, the roles and objectives of the main actors in the employment relations as well as their interactions in collective bargaining, employee participation, conflict resolution, and expression, and the termination of the employment relationship.
